Pootatuck Archers
Diamond Hill Road
West Redding, CT 06896

The Pootatuck Archery Range is located in West Redding, CT. The range is on beautiful open space land and is in the Saugatuck Natural Area.

To reach the range, one must take Route 53 to the light by the Mark Twain Library. At the library, turn onto Diamond Hill Road. Go approximately one and a half miles, the road to the range is on the right. Follow the signs.

The range consists of two courses, one course is a NFAA field course consisting of 14 paper targets. The other is a bowhunter course with bag targets . There are multiple practice areas arranged for you to shoot 20 yards or less and the other allows a shooter to perfect his skills out to 80 yards.

For those archers wishing to bring their families for a day of archery enjoyment, there is a small picnic area available and an outdoor latrine facility. The course offers a variety of shooting positions, and is a fairly difficult course to master.

Membership is open to all style shooters and anyone is welcome to join the organization. Club meetings are presently held the third Thursday of each month at the West Redding fire house at 8:00 and membership applications will be accepted at these meetings.
