INDOOR ROUND
The indoor round is designed to sharpen the archers’ mental game and concentration while honing their archery form. Unlike the outdoor round, the indoor round is shot under identical shooting conditions. The lighting, distance, weather, shadows and terrain are all constant, enabling the archer to concentrate on their form and shot execution. Many of our affiliated clubs and Pro shops offer indoor shooting.
There are two (2) different types of indoor rounds, the 300 round and a 450 or Vegas round. The 300 round consists of shooting 60 arrows, shot as three games of 20 arrows, at a distance of 20 yards. The distance for the cub archer (11 and under) will be 10 yards. Each game has four ends of five (5) arrows per end. The target used is the standard NFAA indoor 40-centimeter target, either a blue-and-white one-spot or a blue-and-white five-spot. The one-spot target is scored, from the center, 5, 4, 3, 3, 2, 1 and the five-spot is scored, from the center, 5, and 4. Arrows striking outside the 4 ring, on the five-spot target, have no score. A perfect score for this round is 300 points. The center of the 5 ring has an additional "X"ring which is used for tie breaking.
The 450 round or Vegas round is also shot at 20 yards. Targets used in this round consist of either a single five-color 40-centimeter target face or a target with three individual targets. The single spot target has 10 scoring rings and score, from the center, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. The three-spot target has 5 scoring rings which score, from the center, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6. For either target face, there are 15 ends of three arrows each. A perfect score is 450 points.

Shooting the multiple face targets prevents most arrow damage for better archers. All arrows must touch the line between rings to score the higher ring.
