COS COB
ARCHERSAffiliations
The club is a member of the Connecticut Archery Association (CAA) and is also associated and chartered by the National Field Archery Association (NFAA).
Activities
The club sponsors several tournaments between January and September. The highlight of our outdoor tournament season is the Club Championship tournament and picnic, where champions in all divisions are crowned.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, (except December), with our Annual meeting scheduled in January.
Facilities
Cos Cob Archers, founded in 1954, pioneered in developing an organization devoted to the sport of field archery. The club maintains an NFAA regulation 28-target field course and a 30 target 3-D course located on approximately 23 rustic acres on Bible Street in Greenwich, Connecticut. The facilities are available to members year round for practice, scheduled shoots, and relaxation!
3-D Tournaments
All 3-D tournaments have 30 3-D targets, accentuated with a life size moose, caribou, elk and grizzly bear. All
other targets range in size from turkeys to large deer. Trophies are awarded in all classes.
