CAA Club Team Shoot
Each year there will be a club team shoot, a competition between CAA affiliated clubs. The winner of the shoot will host the Team Shoot next year. Please check the shoot schedule for this years host club.
There will be a CAA club team shoot held this year at Algonquin Archers for members of CAA affiliated clubs. Team members will consist of 3 members who are current dues paying members of the sponsor club. One team member is unlimited, another member must be shooting fixed pins and the third member must shoot traditional equipment.
The unlimited team member can shoot any type or style equipment. Therefore a club team could consist of 2 fixed pin shooters and a traditional shooter, or 2 traditional shooters and 1 fixed pin shooter, or a movable sight - release shooter, a fixed pin shooter and a traditional shooter.
The fixed pin shooter can shoot with a mechanical release or fingers.
A club can enter more than one team. No shooter can belong to more than one team or represent more than one club. Teams must be entered at registration. There will be no substitutions of team members after registration.
Scores shot at the 3-D tournament that day will be totaled for the team. Team members will shoot from an assigned stake for the equipment style the archer is shooting.
A silver bowl will be awarded to the team with the highest aggregate score of the 3 team members entered. This bowl will have the club name engraved onto it and the winning team will have possession of the bowl for the balance of the year. The bowl will be awarded to the winner of next years team shoot.

By virtue of winning the team shoot, Algonquin Archers will hold onto the team trophy and will host next years event.
