Established, circa 1956, Algonquin Archers occupies twenty acres on Quanopaug Trail, Woodbury, CT.
A "4-star" rated course, Algonquin has 14 field targets and 15 3-D/Bag targets located throughout the twenty acres. Sighting in practice butts range from 20 yards to 60 yards located in front of the clubhouse. Also, there is an elevated shooting platform for tree stand hunting practice with broadheads.
There is a 28 ft. wide x 28 ft. long clubhouse with an attached 28 ft. wide x 38 ft. long pavilion. The clubhouse has indoor cooking facilities, handicapped toilet, electricity and is heated. The pavilion has picnic tables and a fireplace.
